Stories Told. Secrets Kept.

Welcome.

If you found this page, chances are you’re here for one of two reasons: you have a story that needs telling, or an animal who has something to say.

Sometimes it’s both.

About Me

Hi, I’m Wren Meadows, ghostwriter and animal communicator.

I’ve written bestselling memoirs, business books, and more than a little fiction, though most of it lives out in the world under someone else’s name. Do you want to know which ones? I’d tell you, but I can keep secrets.

I started communicating with animals when I was a child. Back then, I didn’t have a name for it. I just knew what they were feeling, what they needed, and what they were trying to say. Over time, that quiet understanding turned into something I could offer to others.

These days, I help people make sense of what their animals can’t quite put into words, and I write the stories people aren’t always ready to tell themselves.

I live in a small rural town in Virginia where things move a little slower and a friendly face is never far away. It suits me. Stories have a way of finding you here, especially if you’re willing to listen closely enough.

At home, I’m outnumbered by a German shepherd who takes his job very seriously and a Ragdoll cat who takes nothing seriously at all. They keep me grounded in different ways.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me walking somewhere in the woods, listening to the world as it moves around me. There’s always something there, if you’re patient enough to hear it.

One of my animal guides has always been the fox. They are quiet, observant, and a little elusive. I once followed a fox into the woods, and she taught me the meaning of trust.

FAQs

What is an animal communicator?

An animal communicator is someone who listens a little differently. Animals communicate constantly through body language, energy, emotion, and sometimes impressions that are hard to explain. My job is to help translate what they’re trying to say so their humans can understand them better.

Can you really talk to animals?

Not in the “full conversation over coffee” sense, unfortunately. It’s quieter than that. Think of it more like receiving impressions, feelings, and images. Animals tend to be wonderfully direct once you learn how to listen.

What kinds of animals do you work with?

Dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, pigs, parrots, and once a very opinionated llama. If they’re willing to communicate, I’m willing to listen.

FAQs

What if my pet is shy or stubborn?

Some animals are enthusiastic conversationalists. Others take their time. A few prefer to stare at me like I’m the strange one in the room. All approaches are valid.

Do animals ever tell secrets about their humans?

Let’s just say animals are extremely observant. I practice discretion.

Do animals ever judge their humans?
Very gently. Usually.

Does my animal need to be present for a session?

Not always. Many sessions can be done remotely with a photo and your animal’s name. Animals have a remarkable way of showing up when they want to be heard.

Do you work with skeptics?
Absolutely. Skeptics tend to ask the best questions.

What is “energy exchange”?

Everything in life works best when energy moves in a circle. If a session helps you or your animal companion, you’re welcome to send a little good energy back into the world. Gratitude keeps the practice going.

FAQs

So where does the ghostwriting come in?

Not everyone has the time or the inclination to write their own stories. I help people shape their ideas into books while staying mostly invisible in the process. It’s fitting work for someone who’s comfortable listening.

What exactly is a ghostwriter?

A ghostwriter helps write a book for someone else while allowing that person’s voice and story to remain front and center. The writer stays behind the curtain. Think of it as storytelling with very little spotlight.

Have you ever ghostwritten a mystery?

Let’s just say some strange stories have crossed my desk.

Do animals ever help solve mysteries?

Animals notice everything. Whether they choose to share that information is another matter entirely.

Do you ever combine the two, animals and writing?

Animals have wonderful stories, but publishing contracts are complicated and most of them refuse to sign paperwork.
